Winter wellbeing

We have been working with Community Action Bradford & District (CABAD), Racial Equality Network and Act as One, to put together some Winter advice, information and contacts for services that may be of help to you or a family member during winter.

Winter wellbeing

  • Wrap up warm when you go out, and make sure your shoes have a good grip
  • Wear a few layers of clothes where you can, it will help you retain body heat
  • Have at least one hot meal a day and try to drink hot drinks regularly
  • Use a hot water bottle to stay warm and around the house
  • Keep an eye out for elderly relatives and neighbours and support them in the cold weather if you can
