Caring for family and friends
If you look after anyone who because of illness or disability needs support and cannot manage without help, then you are recognised in law as a carer. Many people become carers at some point in their lives even though they may work or have other responsibilities.
If you are a carer, help is available from the council, your GP and Bradford Carer’s Resource. There are also local services and technology that could help you. We can point you in the right direction.
