From 1 April 2024, three Household Waste Recycling Centres will be permanently closed - Ford Hill HWRC, Queensbury, Golden Butts HWRC, Ilkley and Sugden End HWRC, Keighley. The sites were chosen as they are the least used of all the HWRCs in the district.
Of the five remaining HWRCs only two are open are open on a Monday from 9am to 4.45pm - Bowling Back Lane HWRC, Bradford and Royd Ings HWRC, Keighley.
