Applications for September 2018

Secondary School Applications

  • The online admissions system will be available for secondary applications from 4 September 2017 until 31 October 2017 for children born between 1 September 2006 and 31 August 2007.
  • You should receive information about making an application for secondary school from your child’s current primary school at the start of September. Please contact the Admissions Team if you do not receive this.

Primary School Applications

  • The online admissions system will be available for reception applications from 14 November 2017 until 15 January 2018 for children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014.
  • You should receive information about making an application for reception from your child’s current nursery/through the post in mid-November. Please contact the Admissions Team if you do not receive this.

You will be able to view as well as amend your online application any time until the closing date of the admissions round. Receipt of online application will be acknowledged via an automated email.

Only one application may be submitted for a child. Multiple applications will not be accepted.

Only complete a Bradford online application if you are a Bradford resident.

The journey to school

The policy for travel assistance from home to school changed on 1 September 2015. Children starting a new school from September 2017 or applying for school travel for the first time will be assessed using the new policy. If you attend without an appointment we cannot guarantee you will be seen and you may be asked to return on another day.
