Result of Ballot: Keighley Business Improvement District (BID) Renewal Ballot

Local Government Act 2004 Business Improvement Districts (England) Regulations 2004.

Total number of votes cast in the ballot, excluding any given on ballot papers rejected: 117

Aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voted in the ballot: 5,923,050

Total number of votes cast in favour of the renewal of the Keighley Business Improvement District: 92

Aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voting in the ballot has voted in favour of the renewal of Keighley Business Improvement District: 3,892,000

The proposal to renew the Keighley Business Improvement District is approved.

A majority of the Business ratepayers in the proposed BID renewal area who voted, voted for the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value and numbers voting.

Report on turnout: 118 returns were received representing an overall turnout of 39.33%

The total number of ballot papers rejected was as follows: 0 unsigned, 1 unmarked.
