Future Boost

Are you aged 16 to 24 and out of work?  Has the pandemic made things harder for you to find opportunities?  We realise that the impact of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has been particularly challenging for young adults.

As a result, Bradford District has set out a commitment to young adults in the district to connect them to work and opportunities, and to offer support.  This exciting youth offer is called Future Boost and consists of a number of activities and programmes all targeted at support for young adults aged 16 to 24.

National Careers Service

The National Careers Service offers digital careers guidance, skills and interest tests online, where you can also find in-depth information on hundreds of different jobs.

Bradford150 Legacy

This is a programme to help young leaders in the district to learn tools and skills, build connections and receive personalised leadership coaching.  To get more information, visit the Bradford150 website.

Bradford SkillsHouseYouth

Offering support to get into work or training, advisers from Bradford SkillsHouseYouth can help young people to overcome any barriers they have such as housing, money, health issues and more.  See the SkillsHouseYouth website for contact details.

Digital Jobs Board

Emotional health and wellbeing support

Training courses

Youth Service

The Youth Service will be offering an exciting programme of experiences and support, enabling you to Be Valued, Be Someone and Be Active.

Sporting Chances

A number of opportunities available as below:
