Notice is hereby given that The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has made The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (54 Lane Side, Wilsden, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD15 0LZ) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 under Part II section 17 of the Housing Act 1985.  It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for confirmation, and, if confirmed, the order will authorise The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of bringing the property back into use as a housing resource.

A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be viewed below and seen at all reasonable hours at City Hall, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD1 1HY.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Planning Casework Unit, Department for Levelling Up Housing & Communities, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH or by email to pcu@levellingup.gov.uk before 22 May 2023 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land. In submitting an objection, it should be noted that the personal data and correspondence relating to any objection will be passed to The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to enable any objection to be considered. If any person does not wish personal data to be forwarded to the Council, they should state why when submitting the objection and the Secretary of State will copy the representations, with the name and address removed to the Council and if there is to be a local Public Inquiry the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.
