Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan

5. Further consultation (August 2016)

The Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan (AAP) was submitted to the Secretary of Statement for Communities and Local Government on Friday 29th April for Examination in Public (EiP) by an independent Planning Inspector.

The Inspector's initial examination of the document has revealed a number of areas requiring additional public consultation. These two sections are as follows:

  1. Goitside Neighbourhood Vision
  2. Policies Map

Reason for Additional Consultation

The incorrect neighbourhood vision was placed in the Goitside Neighbourhood section when the document was desktop published for public consultation. The correct version of the document was approved by Executive and Full Council in October 2015, but the desktop published version of the document used for the majority of public consultation was incorrect.

The Policies Map is also be re-consulted upon due to the fact not all land use allocations and policy proposals were not available on one comprehensive plan. All allocations and policy proposals were available on separate maps throughout the document, but it is considered a comprehensive map should have been available within the document.

This consultation seeks your written representation(s) on the Goitside Neighbourhood Vision and Policies Map only.
