We welcome the submission of planning applications online through the Planning Portal.
The Planning Portal will take you through the online submission process from selecting the appropriate forms and attaching documents to formally submitting the application and paying the application fee.

You can buy maps from the planning portal to support your application using the Planning Portal's - Buy a Plan
You can also apply by post. Application forms can be downloaded from the Planning Portal website and sent to the address on this page.
You will need to send us the original and one copy of the application form, plans and relevant supporting documents.
You need to make sure that you submit all of the correct supporting documents with your application. The national and local information requirements and related guidance documents for planning and related applications can be found on the Planning Application Information Requirements webpage.
From 1 July 2017 any planning applications determined may be liable for CIL.
For applications for residential development, retail warehouses and large supermarkets you'll also need to complete the CIL additional questions form which can be downloaded from the Planning Portal. Residential extensions under 100sq m in size will not be liable for CIL.
