Land at Guard House and North Dean Road

Notice is given by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council that it intends to dispose of two areas of land having a total area of approximately 50,931sq.m (12.585 acres) or thereabouts on two areas of adjoining land - the former Guard House Primary School site, School Road, Keighley BD22 6JG and land at North Dean Road, Keighley which is open space within the meaning of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

The plans show the open space land at:

1. the site of the former Guard House Primary School, School Road, Keighley BD22 6JG; and
2. land at North Dean Road, Keighley

The sites the Council proposes to dispose may be viewed below.

A copy of each plan can also be obtained by contacting Estate Management at [email protected], who will upon request, arrange for persons to be sent a copy of the plan.

Any objections or representations to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to either [email protected] quoting reference Guard House Primary site/POS and North Dean Road site/POS no later than 12 noon on 7 July 2025. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
