Pothole Action Fund 2016-17

In 2016/17, the Department for Transport (DfT) provided Local Authorities in England with additional funding to permanently fix potholes or prevent them from forming in the first place. This additional funding had to complement (rather than displace) planned highway maintenance expenditure.

To promote greater transparency, the DfT stipulated that all authorities were required to publish details on their websites showing how and where this funding had been spent along with associated costs.

Details of the works carried out in the Bradford District are highlighted in the attached report.
