A correctly applied decal will last 5 years and will enhance your professional image to your customers.

What decals should my vehicle be wearing?

The graphic below shows you how your vehicle should always be presented.

Please note: you can only display one operator on your vehicle at any one time.

If you work for a second operator, you must display that operator's magnetic decals directly over the top of your primary operator decals on your rear doors.

Your vehicle should only display the operator you are currently working for.

  • Front doors should present the Bradford Council door decal – fitted correctly.
  • Rear doors should display the operator you are currently working for, fitted centrally.
  • Bradford Council licensed Private Hire vehicles are no longer required to display front & rear windscreen visors.

The Hire Company may choose the most suitable method of distributing these to drivers.

Does my vehicle still need to wear my operator's windscreen front and rear visors?

No, this requirement was removed in the May 2025 changes to licensing conditions. For more information, please refer to Section 19.4 of our vehicle specification here.

How long will my new plate last?

The new style of Bradford Council plate is designed to last 3 years. This is providing the plate is applied, maintained and cared for properly.

These should last for 5 years, providing you properly fit them to your vehicle, following the instructions provided by MOGO. Applying the decal in an improper manner or to a dirty vehicle will reduce the lifespan of the decal dramatically.
