• Monday: closed
• Tuesday to Friday: 8am to 4.45pm (May to September) and 9am to 4.45pm (October to April)
• Saturday: 9am to 3.45pm
• Sunday: 10am to 3.45pm
• Bank holidays: closed

This site is closed on Mondays. You can use Bowling Back Lane HWRC and Keighley HWRC as an alternative.

Permits

Cars with a valid household waste recycling centre permit can access the site at any of the times shown below. Residents entering the site on foot or bicycle please refer to the Household Waste Recycling Policy as restrictions may apply.

Fridges and freezers

We are temporarily unable to accept fridges and freezers at our household waste recycling centres due to a national shortage of specialist processing facilities. Our storage areas are now at full capacity, and we cannot safely accept any further appliances. Significant work is being done locally and nationally to improve the current situation.

This does not affect retailer take-back schemes or specialist waste collection companies, which may have access to different collection and storage arrangements. If possible, please store unwanted appliances until normal service resumes.
