3. Examination (August 2016)

The Council submitted the AAP to the Planning Inspectorate on Friday, 29 April.

This page should be viewed alongside the submission webpage from which the original submission library may be accessed. The submission library also contains a full set of representations submitted at the AAP Publication stage.

Further library items will be added to this Examination page as the Examination progresses and representors and other interested parties are encouraged to view it on a regular basis for new items and latest developments.

Latest News

29 August - following the recent close of the Modifications consultation the responses have been forwarded to the Inspector to assist her deliberations and final report. Further details will be advised in due course - in the meantime, please note the Programme Officer's new email address as below for any communications.

4 July - the Council's Modifications consultation will now commence on 5 July for a period of six weeks and ending 16 August.

26 June - the Council's Modification consultation is expected to commence on 28 June for a period of six weeks and ending 9 August.

7 March 2017 - following the recent hearing session, the Council are now preparing a list of proposed Modifications and expect to consult on these in the near future. Following the close of that consultation the Inspector would expect to proceed to her final report.

The Inspector

The Secretary of State has appointed Ms Louise Nurser BA (Hons) Dip UP MRTPI to undertake the examination into the AAP.

The Programme Officer

The hearings

The hearings concluded on Wednesday 1 March 2017.

Draft modifications

The Council are now compiling an updated list of proposed Modifications and expect to consult on these in the near future.

Examination library items

These will be added here as the Examination progresses. The Inspector is also conducting the Examination into the Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan and as a result some of the library items, particularly correspondence between the Inspector and the Council, may also refer to that Plan.
