What information is required?

Applications should be accompanied by a range of supplementary information including:

  1. Area of search
  2. Details of the proposed structure
  3. For new masts or base stations, evidence that the applicant has explored the possibility of erecting antennas on an existing building, mast or other structure
  4. Map showing the relationship of the application site to schools and other telecommunications equipment in the vicinity
  5. Details of any consultations carried out with organisations with an interest in the proposed development for example where a mast is to be installed near a school or college, or within a statutory safeguarding zone surrounding an aerodrome, technical site or military explosives storage area
  6. Signed declaration that the equipment and installation has been designed to be in full compliance with the requirements of the radio frequency (RF) public exposure guidelines of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP)
