General Vesting Declaration

Made and executed by The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council pursuant to the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declaration) Act 1981

This General Vesting Declaration is made 14 April 2026 by The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

1. On 29 January 2026, an order entitled the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (13 Rhodes Terrace, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD2 4LA) Compulsory Purchase Order 2025 was confirmed by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council under the powers conferred on them by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government in pursuance of section 14A of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981, authorising the Authority to acquire the land specified in the Schedule hereto.
2. Notice of confirmation of the order was first published in accordance with sections 15 of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 on 13, March 2026.
3. then notice included the statement and form prescribed under section 15(4) (e) and (f) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981.

Now this deed witnesseth that, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 4 of the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declaration) Act 1981 ("the Act"), the Authority hereby declare: 

The Land described in the Schedule hereto being the whole of the land authorised to be acquired by the order and more particularly delineated and shown outlined in red on the plan which can be found below, together with the right to enter upon and take possession of the land shall vest in the Authority as from the end of the period of no less than three months form the date of which the service of notice required by section 6 of the Act is competed.
