Highway infrastructure asset management strategy
This Highway Infrastructure Asset Management Strategy sets out how the Council will best manage the highway network taking into consideration customer needs, local priorities, asset condition and the best use of available resources. It presents the Council's strategy for the management of our highway assets as at January 2018 and allows planning over both the short and long term, whilst delivering a minimum whole life cost approach to our Highways assets.
Our HIAM Strategy has recently been updated and will be published shortly, following alignment checks with a new West Yorkshire-wide HIAM Strategy (due to be finalised at the end of October 2025) and approval by a small number of key stakeholders.
