Bradford Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Regulation 123 List
CIL Regulations 2010 (as amended)
Bradford Council is a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Authority. The Council's CIL charging schedule took effect on 1 July 2017. In addition the Council published its approved Regulation 123 List.
The Regulation 123 List sets out a list of the infrastructure types that the Council intends maybe fully or partly funded by CIL. The list does not prioritise infrastructure funding.
The Council can revise the approved Regulation 123 List at any time in accordance with the CIL Regulations 2010 (as amended). In accordance with the government's Planning Practice Guidance when charging authorities wish to revise their Regulation 123 list, they should ensure that these changes are clearly explained and subject to appropriate local consultation.
Bradford Council consulted on a revised Regulation 123 List for four weeks from Wednesday, 13 February to Wednesday, 13 March 2019. The proposal was to update the Regulation 123 List to provide greater clarity on what will be funded by CIL and to include specific reference to additional infrastructure priorities to support sustainable development.
The revised Regulation 123 List (April 2019) is published on the Council's website and can be found on the following link: Bradford Regulation 123 List (PDF)
