Most applications have a 21-day consultation period.

You can find the deadline for comments on the online planning system.

Where can I view a planning application?

You can look at planning applications (including forms, plans and supporting documents):

  • Online using our planning system. Documents are usually available within 24 hours after the application is validated. Some applications have lots of documents, so they might take a while to load depending on your internet speed
  • In person at the Customer Service Centres at City Hall and Keighley Town Hall during normal opening hours

You don't have to register to comment on an application, but if you do register you can track applications and save searches.

The website uses a temporary ‘session cookie’ to keep your connection secure. If you spend too long writing a comment, the session may time out and your comment might not be submitted.

How do I comment?

You can send your comments in two ways:

  • online through the planning system.

In order to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and to protect the privacy of contributors, comments on planning applications are not published on our online planning system. Any comments received will be summarised in the planning officers report for that application.
