How to find us
By car or coach
The routes from Hawes and Aysgarth are not suitable for large vehicles or coaches.
The easiest access route to Buckden House is from Skipton. From Skipton follow the B6160 north heading towards Grassington/Kettlewell. You’ll soon reach Threshfield. Continue on the main road. You should now be passing through Kilnsey with the fish farm, The Tennet’s Arms (pub), and the huge cliff on your left hand side. Continue on the main road to Kettlewell. Once there pass over the narrow hump-backed bridge and in between the Racehorse and Blue Bell pubs. Pass through the small hamlet of Starbotton to arrive in Buckden village. The centre’s entrance is on your right hand side.
Travel time is 1.5 hours from Bradford and Leeds and 2 hours from Manchester
Public transport
The nearest train station is Skipton though this is still 20 miles away. Local taxis can then transport you the rest of the journey.
