About Holme Wood Library

Holme Wood Library was originally a purpose built library opened in 1975 and owned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The library was improved in 1995. The new library now occupies a frontal position on Broadstone Way, a major thoroughfare of the community.

The floor area of the library is 200 square metres. There is full disabled access throughout the complex. The library has disabled toilets available for public use. A small car park for library users is available.

As well as over 10,000 books and free internet access, the library offers regular storytimes, and access to information throughout the district.
