From Monday 3 April Clayton Library will reduce opening hours as follows:
This is to enable us to continue to work with Clayton Parish Council to eventually operate as a ‘hybrid’ library – a mixture of volunteers and library staff.
Opening hours will increase when all is in place.

This library is located in the Old School House built in 1819. The property is a single storey building owned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council set in its own grounds and the library was opened in 1958. The floor area is 109 square metres which includes the library, staff kitchen and toilets. There is an external boiler house to the rear.
The library is centrally situated near to the shops and next door to a school. Access to the library is good with a short ramp leading to the entrance. Roadside parking is available.
As well as books and free internet access the library offers storytimes, and taster IT sessions.
