About Burley Library

This purpose built library which belongs to Bradford Metropolitan District Council was opened in 1974 and is located near the centre of the village next to a public park. It is close to shops and easily accessible from most of the residential parts of the village. The floor area is 242 square metres which includes the library area. Access to the library is good, with handrails adjacent to the ramp leading to the main entrance. The library has a small car park.

Burley Community Council store and maintain their Archive collection in a room adjacent to the library. As well as over 8,000 books and free internet access, the library offers regular storytimes, taster sessions for IT learners and access to information throughout the district.
