Training courses for businesses

Bradford Council’s Workforce Development Service offers a range of development opportunities designed to develop the skills, competence and confidence of the workforce. These courses are targeted at the development needs of colleagues across the Council, and are available to partner organisations and businesses external to the Council.

Development opportunities are developed and facilitated by high quality, qualified training officers who have in-depth knowledge and experience in the subject areas that they deliver.

Development opportunities are delivered in a range of ways to meet the needs of individual requirements and learning styles. These include:

  • traditional classroom based learning
  • e-learning
  • bespoke learning
  • whole team training in the workplace
  • blended approach – online learning, pre course reading and e-learning, with follow up face to face to embed learning
