Proxy research

For customers who are not able to visit the library to carry out their research in person, Local Studies library staff can offer a proxy research service.

Proxy research (up to 1 hour including 1 can or photocopy): £20.

Every hour thereafter: £20.

For remote orders by library staff there is a minimum handling fee of £6.25. This includes up to 5 images and postage and packing.

Digital images

Individuals can request to use their own equipment to copy documents free of charge for use within normal library and copyright restrictions.

Digital images – by library staff: £1.25 each
