Volunteering
Bradford Council acknowledges that volunteers contribute in many ways, where their contribution is unique and can benefit users of council services, staff, local communities and the volunteers themselves. As a large diverse local authority we value the contribution made by volunteers and are committed to involving volunteers in appropriate positions and in ways which is encouraging and supportive.
It is important that any volunteers working on behalf or assisting Bradford Council are effectively managed and well supported; to this end we have developed a suite of guidance and templates.
