Leased memorials

All memorials are purchased on a 'lease' basis. At the end of the lease period all rights will cease unless an application for renewal is made with the appropriate payment to the Bereavement Services offices. If a renewal application is not made, the memorial will be removed.

There are a variety of commemorative memorials available for relatives and friends who would like to have a memorial in dedication of their loved ones.

Memorial plaques

We offer a range of plaques. These plaques are sold on a ten year leases, renewable at the expiry date. We offer the following types of plaques:

Pedestal plaque

Suitable for one person only.

Cream metal plaque with printed inscription.

Book of Remembrance

The name of deceased and a personal inscription may be entered in the Book of Remembrance, which can be viewed once per year on a chosen date.

These are contained in Remembrance Rooms at Oakworth, Nabwood and Scholemoor City Cemeteries.

Benches
