Schools recycling

Recycling bins are available for schools in the Bradford district to make recycling part of the daily routine for staff and pupils.

Bradford Council can provide schools with 240 litre bins (domestic size) for recycling. A grey bin is provided for paper and cardboard and a blue lidded bin for recycling cans, glass bottles, jars and plastic bottles. The bins are emptied on a fortnightly basis.

The school recycling bins are supplied and emptied free of charge, however to be eligible for the recycling bins your school must have an existing contract with Bradford Council's trade waste service for your general refuse.

Schools can also request battery buckets for recycling domestic style batteries, which are emptied on request.

If your school would like to participate in the recycling scheme, please contact us.
