Pay a planning fee

You will have to pay a fee to apply for most types of planning application. The fees are set nationally.

You must pay your fee when you make your application. Your application will not be processed until we have received the correct fee.

You can calculate the fee for any application using the Planning Portal's Fee Calculator

Pay planning fees online

To help speed up the process you can pay your planning fee online through our secure website.

You will need to provide the site address, payment amount and application reference number. You can enter either the Planning Portal reference number eg PP-1234567 or the Council’s reference number eg 15/01234/FUL

You can also pay online via the Planning Portal where you can submit your application, and make a payment.

  • By telephone on 01274 434605. Lines are open between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am and 5pm on Friday. 
  • By cheque. Make your cheque payable to Bradford Council. Cheques sent by post should be addressed to Planning Service, 4th Floor, Britannia House, Bradford BD1 1HX. 
  • In person at Britannia House Customer Service Centre or Keighley Customer Service Centre. Please note that from 6 June 2016 cash payments will not be accepted.

Again you will need to provide the site address, payment amount and application reference number.
