About Wrose Library

This library was opened in 1972 in a converted shop premises. The library has reasonable access although there is a small step at the entrance. There is a small car park to the rear of the building which can be accessed via a side road. The floor area of the library is 79 square metres which is largely taken up by the main body of the library. The library had a major roof refurbishment in 2005.

As well as over 4,000 books and free internet access, the library also offers a reading group, taster sessions for IT learners, and access to information throughout the district.

Management of the library was transferred to the community in November 2011 and volunteers provide the service with support from Bradford Libraries
