Local authority commissioned special free school

Bradford Council is transforming SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) across the district.  As part of our ambitious plans we are seeking applications from potential sponsors to run an exciting new SEND day/residential free school.

Working in collaboration with major partners in the district and with neighbouring councils, Bradford Council is developing a new SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) facility offering holistic whole life services based around excellent education, family care and work-life support with residential facilities.

Applicants must register their interest ahead of submitting their application.  Pre-registration is compulsory for all potential proposer groups to complete.

Completed applications can be submitted at any time, but must be submitted no later than midday on 24 November 2017. The Council cannot grant a deadline extension.

Prospective Sponsor Event

The Council will organise an event in Bradford to share the vision with prospective sponsors and will invite social care, CAMHS and neighbouring Councils to take part in the event.
