Norman Harris couldn’t believe his luck when he won tea and cake with the Lord Mayor of Bradford at a Hook-A-Duck competition. It was part of an event raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the official charity for this year's Tour de Yorkshire.

The prize was donated by the Lord Mayor’s Office for the game raising money for the charity as part of their Yellow Yorkshire Day. The event saw 4,000 yellow rubber ducks released in to the Mirror Pool in the city’s City Park for a huge game of hook-a-duck.

Norman will be bringing his daughter, Wendy, for the treat at City Hall on Monday 11 June.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun Zafar Ali, said: "I’m looking forward to welcoming Norman and Wendy to City Hall. My office was delighted to be able to offer the prize for the event raising money for such a worthwhile cause."
