Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Testing
Welcome to the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Testing section of Fleet Services.
This ministry approved testing station is manned by two experienced testers assisted by a driver who will drive the vehicles in/out of the testing area and assist with the test.
The testers are totally impartial and will pass or fail a vehicle on merit on the day.
Total number of tests for 2001: 3426.
The first time pass rate for 2001 was: 49%.
We do not repair these vehicles.
