Welcome to the Education section of the Waste Management website.
A range of activities has been developed to raise the awareness of pupils to waste management and its impact on the environment.
The activities are based on the 3R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and are linked to the National Curriculum. See the links at the bottom of this page for further information on the 3R's and information regarding paper recycling schemes for schools.
Workshops and activities are tailored to meet the needs of the schools.
Practical workshops include hand-made recycled paper and human figure models made from old newspapers.
