Bradford Graffiti Charter

Getting Involved

The Bradford Graffiti Charter has been conceived with the clear intention of improving the City of Bradford, by keeping the highway free from graffiti, as far as reasonably possible.

The overall aim of the Charter is to make Bradford a welcoming environment for people to visit, meet, shop and work.

Owners of buildings or their representatives can become members of the Bradford Graffiti Charter.

In return they will receive a certificate acknowledging their outstanding contribution to the improvement of the physical environment in the Metropolitan District of Bradford.

The signatory’s organisation will qualify for a 10% reduction in graffiti removal costs if they use Bradford Council’s graffiti removal service.

Participation is entirely voluntary in this initiative but it will improve the appearance of the City of Bradford that is so important to attract tourists, businesses, shoppers and investment in general.

Terms of the Charter

The signatories to the Charter will agree to abide by the terms of the Bradford Graffiti Charter, which are:

  • To do all that is reasonably possible to keep their respective properties, in the City of Bradford, free from graffiti and to improve the appearance for the benefit of the people of Bradford.
