New Buildings
Whilst in some remote rural areas new buildings may be acceptable, they may not be appropriate in Bradford due to greenbelt policy. New buildings will not normally be acceptable in the greenbelt unless they are for agriculture or forestry purposes or essential to enable the development of an outdoor sports or recreation scheme. Where the principle of a new building is considered appropriate its siting, scale and design must respect the existing character of existing development and the countryside.
