Our Environmental Health staff are based in area offices, delivering services which include:

• Investigating and monitoring land, air, water and noise pollution.
• Ensuring the safety of food supplied by inspection and education.
• Controlling (with Primary Care Trusts) the spread of communicable disease.
• Inspecting many workplaces to see that the health and safety of employees and the public is not at risk.
