Bradford lies at the heart of the motorway network equidistant between London and Edinburgh, Liverpool and Hull. Travel to the rest of the UK by road is therefore both direct and convenient via the closeness of the M1 and M62. |
The district is also served by two central train stations; Forster Square and Bradford Interchange. Forster Square provides services and connections to all the UK’s major cities, including London.
An innovative, environmentally-friendly mini-tram system has just been piloted in the city centre to help people get around and plans are in progress to make it a permanent fixture.
Rail links are excellent too and with the Leeds Bradford International Airport just a 20 minute drive from the city centre, many UK and European airports are within easy reach. |

To travel further afield, there is a choice of flying from LBIA to a major hub airport such as Heathrow, Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam. Alternatively Manchester Airport is just 45mins - 1hour away.
