Local Government Ombudsman Annual Report
The Local Government Ombudsman (LGO)provides a free, independent and impartial service. They consider complaints about the administrative actions of councils and some other authorities. As outlined in the Councils complaints procedure following the council dealing with a complaint under stage 1 and stage 2 of the process, customers are then given the option to progress the matter via the Local Goverment Ombudsman.
Each year the LGO issues an annual letter and summary of statistics regarding complaints received about Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The annual letter comments on the authorities performance and complaint handling process.
