Customer Services Training and Events
The Institute of Customer Service Professional Awards Scheme was adopted in 2002 by Bradford Council as a development framework for front line staff across the Council. It was felt that the Awards provide a structured approach to supporting and developing individual staff, as well as giving the organisation a framework to enable cultural change and the development of service excellence.
All of those who register for an ICS Professional Award become Student Members of the Institute of Customer Service. The ICS is the professional body for customer service and sets the standards for customer service professionalism. Employees who achieve an ICS Professional Award can become a qualified Individual Member of ICS – a clear statement that they have achieved national recognition as a Customer Service Professional.
National Customer Services Week is organised and promoted by the Institute of Customer Service. Bradford Council has participated in National Customer Service Week since 2003. It is an annual week long event to celebrate Customer Service professionalism and highlights the commitment Bradford Council has to achieving Customer Service Excellence. The links will provide you with information on some of the activities that have taken place at Bradford Council during National Customer Services Week over the last few years.
