Road Safety
Road Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
The Council provides Road Safety services either as specialist services or in partnership with other agencies, for example, roads and neighbourhood policing, Fire and Rescue, and Bradford Safeguarding Children Board.

Road Safety Services are:
- Road Safety Education, Training and Publicity – includes pedestrian and cycling skills training in schools, publicity campaigns, walking buses, road safety promotion
- Road Safety Engineering – includes highway safety improvements, pedestrian and cycling facilities, traffic calming and speed limits
- Road Safety Enforcement – through membership of the West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership, fixed and mobile speed enforcement and traffic signal enforcement cameras.
- Also in partnership with roads policing and neighbourhood policing.
