The Partnership aims to create a safer Bradford District by tackling crime, disorder, drugs, alcohol and anti social behaviour. The Partnership’s work focuses on ensuring Bradford is a district where people feel safe, with low levels of crime and disorder by addressing the following four priorities:
- Visible responses
- Supporting Vulnerable People
- Preventing Offending
- Enforcing the Law
In 2004 the Partnership undertook its third Crime and Disorder Audit across the district which provided information based on an analysis of recorded crime figures, information from a variety of partners, consultations, surveys and specific commission research. The full audit and summary are available to download below.
The Audit 2004 has enabled us to assess the nature and patterns of crime, engage with local residents, target our resources effectively and develop our key priorities to address. The findings formed the basis for the development of the Safer Communities Strategy 2005-2008 which highlights the focus of our work over the next three years.
The full strategy and summary are available to download below.
