Life in the Community

Consisting of five Area Offices and a central District, Diversity and Inclusion Team, the Service provides the opportunity for residents to help improve the quality of life of people living in their neighbourhoods and the district as a whole through:

• public meetings and consultation
• Work with residents and service providers
• Promoting a range projects across the district

Supporting the Council’s and its partners work to make Bradford a good place to live, work, learn and play by:

• Jointly hosting conferences that inform the Area Priority Action Plans, with Bradford Vision
• Managing programmes aimed at improving the quality of life and life opportunities of residents who live in some of our most disadvantaged neighbourhoods
• Encouraging participation at Neighbourhood Forums
• Influencing the work of key service providers through consultation and other events.
