Community Development Policy Unit
The Community Development Policy Unit works within the Council and with other organisations to provide a specialist community development input into the design of policies, programmes and projects. The unit supports the development of initiatives, providing research and evaluation as well as developing strategies and action plans. The unit aims to strengthen good practice in consultation, community involvement and community work and has a key role in co-ordinating the Council's contribution to the Building Communities Strategy.
