Children's Centres
Children’s Centres are being set up to provide joined-up services for 0 - 5 year olds and their families. They are based on the principle that preschool learning, flexible childcare, health care and family support of all kinds will all contribute to young children’s well being and readiness to learn when they start school. Bradford has been allocated over £7 million capital and £3 million revenue to spend on Children’s Centres in the financial years 2004/06.
