Schools out – but there’s no need to be bored!

Over the next few weeks you’ll discover loads of exciting events, activities, workshops and clubs - right on your very doorstep!

That’s because the Shipley Area Committee has allocated £20,000 to support summer activities for children and young people across the whole Constituency.

So why not try your hand at something new this summer?

Activities on offer include:

• Guitar lessons
• Football
• Ju-Jitsu
• Boxercise
• "Turn-up and play" camps
• Basketball
• Tennis
• Personal safety classes
• Fun days
• Cycling drop-in sessions: Roberts & Myrtle Park

A total of 10 local organisations have received funds to provide summer activities for residents in the Shipley area, including:

• Personal Development and Safety Solutions
• BeCycling / Baildon and Shipley Extended Schools
• Salts Tennis Club
• Frizinghall Partnerships and partners
• Bradford Youth Service

• Bingley Extended Schools
• Unite
