15th anniversary of the West Yorkshire Euro Info Centre
A double celebration is on the cards for the West Yorkshire Euro Info Centre this week
Not only is the Bradford-based Centre celebrating 15 years of successful operation, it is also marking its achievement of Customer First, a customer service quality framework for business support. The EIC team will be holding a celebration breakfast at the Design Exchange on Wednesday October 26, attended by partners and customers.
Opened in 1990, the West Yorkshire EIC helps local companies get the information they need to do business effectively in the UK and the rest of Europe’s single market.
“Over the years, we have answered literally thousands of questions, not only helping firms comply with European legislation and standards but also trying to help them tap into new business opportunities” said Jenny Lawson, Manager of the Centre.
Having always aimed to provide excellent service to its customers, the EIC team is also delighted to have achieved accreditation to Customer First, a recognised standard increasingly being required for providers of business support.
Bradford Council Leader Coun Margaret Eaton, who will be opening the event and also presenting the Customer First Certificate to the team, said: “I’m delighted at the much-deserved success of the EIC, which forms a key part of our Regeneration Team. I know that their customers over the years have appreciated the high quality assistance from the experienced staff and I congratulate them on achieving Customer First”.
