Information Services
Located on the third and fourth floors of the Central Library, Information Services is your gateway to information, whether you have a quick enquiry or need help with in-depth research. Trained, skilled staff are available to help with enquiries delivered in person, by phone, fax or e-mail. A full range of resources including books (reference and for loan), directories, reports and journals are available for you to come and use or borrow and for staff to use to answer your enquiry. If your enquiry cannot be answered from these resources staff are able to refer you to an appropriate organisation.
Increasingly, but not exclusively, enquiries can be answered from internet resources. Free internet access is available and on your behalf Information Services subscribes to a range of electronic resources, many delivered via the internet, which offer detailed information, particularly for business information. Staff guidance and help is available for required.
