Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Bradford Social Care Staff
In the fast changing world that we now live in and to meet the demand for higher standards we are all required to update our skills and knowledge to demonstrate continuous professional development.
Evidence of CPD is a requirement for the National Minimum Care Standards and for the registration of Social Workers. In the near future Registration will also include residential workers and home care staff qualified with NVQ's.
By building a CPD portfolio you will provide a record of your professional and personal development.
For Managers inducting new staff the following pages will guide you through how to create a new portfolio including some documentation that you can download to assist you. *Please note that hard copy folders are no longer centrally distributed.
