Capturing the value of our heritage

This year's Our City – Our Faith, Connecting Cultures Open Days are bumper packed with exciting activities and open to everyone at the National Award Winning "Model Mosque" of Britain – Madni Jamia Masjid. We have two days filled with even more Creative, Diverse and Innovative arts and culture, so why not be part of it and share in our local heritage.

Exclusively this year there will be an exhibition of the history of faith communities in Bradford and how they have evolved. We will also be showcasing images of Bradford's diverse mosques as well as a short video produced by talented young people.

All our events are FREE OF CHARGE and are aimed at schools, individuals and the wider community; they have been organised with support from Bradford Council and Education Bradford.

REFLECTIONS ON FAITH - Past, Present and Future
Ours City has a wonderful climate, breathtaking landscapes, caring human beings and immense reserves of talent, rooted largely in our cultural diversity. We hope to share personal stories and perspectives; within an open space environment and compare perceptions, ponder implications, and consider new possibilities. There will be opportunities to listen and learn, share best practice, engage in discussions, make connections, network and perhaps most importantly of all – laugh and enjoy mouth watering south Asian cuisine.
